This is a 15 /22 watercolor & ink done on watercolor paper of a Mother's Day  Bouquet .   Sending this to all the MOTHERS everywhere & hope each & every  one  of you have a wonderful Mother's Day.
We are the lucky ones to have been a Mother to someone somewhere  even if they didn't live with us.  I  helped raised 2 wonderful Sons of my household & fill like I had many more .    They are sons & Daughters  of my heart.     Now we have Sweet Grand Children  .        God is good .

This is an acrylic painting on 20 X 20  cradleboard wired for hanging.  The background Bluebonnets  are much lighter then the photo shows.       Sorry about the glare but best I could get .     May do some tweaking then varnishing & it will be ready to find a new home.

This is a painting I started many years ago & didn't like .   I put it away &  forgot it.   I came across it a couple days ago & saw possibilities so I reworked figure, hat & face and moved color around keeping lots of the old color showing through.      She can come out of hiding ,   I think I like her enough to frame now.  I will  set it  up & study for a few days  may have to tweak it a bit  yet .

I have been painting these small paintings that are greeting cards.   I am still working on a big bluebonnet painting on canvas board but it is going a bit slower then these smaller paintings are.
I just enjoy doing the smaller ones & the smaller works in my journal so much it is hard to get back to the bigger works.

The WTWS show is up at the Buddy Holly Center in Lubbock TX  .    First Friday Art Tour  & the WTWS reception were tonight.      Two of our winners in the show  Dyan Newton & Carole Peterson  shown here  are demoing their painting skills.     If you didn't get to see the show tonight  it will hang until June  .      Come on down if you can &  see the show.      I have one painting Party Time hanging in the show.

This is a watercolor with Ink of a church in  Sedona AZ that I have painted many times.   So much fun to go to Sedona & get inspired.    They have lots of artist there & many galleries.    The color just makes you want to paint, photo, sketch or just  walk & see all that beautiful color .
